About us

Last updated: October 24, 2026

NetVetted publishes plain-language reviews of consumer technology: security software, VPNs, gadgets and the everyday tools people rely on. We write for readers who want to know how a product behaves in normal use before they spend money on it.

What we do

We install and use the products we cover, compare them against alternatives, and report what stood out and what didn’t. We focus on usability, value, privacy and real-world performance rather than spec sheets.

How we make money

NetVetted is reader-supported through affiliate partnerships. When you follow a link on this site and buy a product, the seller may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way. We are currently an authorized affiliate of TotalAV, whose products include TotalAV Antivirus and Total VPN.

Some of our pages are advertisements, and they are labelled as such. A commission never changes the facts we report about a product’s price, renewal terms or features. Read our Disclaimer for the full affiliate disclosure.
